*deep sigh* WELL. I hope this gets better quick! And more realistic. It's feeling a bit INSTA and I'm not feeling it right.
Should I walk away now? Try again at a later time? It's been sitting in my library for a long time.

Katrina Keep going!!! and the rest of the series just builds on this one.

Okay. I'll keep going. Is this an insta-love situation?
AND what do you mean the series builds on this? Is this not a standalone? LOL... 😲 I do this all the time

Susan It's one of my favorites, but to each their own.... Kristen Proby is one of my go-to authors.

Susan It's pretty insta-lovey, I agree. I think what Katrina means is that the other books in the series are all connected stand-alones. You really get to know the Montgomery family so well throughout the series!

**Sigh, I want to be a Montgomery...

Thank you!!! For all this info. So this 1st book will give me an ending for this couple. ❤ Good to know.

A lot of the times I go into a book as blind as possible. But then that's where I run into trouble sometimes. LOL. I've read a book that was a cliff and book 2 never released. YIKES. That sucked for me.

Rozberry🍓 Definitely heavy on the insta-love, which is something I’m a bit more weary of now as a reader, but I have a soft spot for this book because it’s the book that got me into contemporary romance & I still love their meet-cute(I wish KP had held on to some of that tension a bit longer). So while it’s a sentimental-ish kind of favorite for me, I get why won’t be a favorite for everyone. If you’re interested though in the rest of the series, you might wanna stick it out & get to know the Montgomerys & Williams(the heroes or heroines come from those families in the original 8 books in the series). The girls nights later in the series are hilarious😂.

8 books. Oh wow! That's a commitment. LOL. I didn't realize. I agree with you. The meer-cute was good and definitely would've been nice to stretch out the tension a little longer

Susan It’s actually up to 15 books now, I think, but the original series was 8. She expanded it into the cousins and such. The first 8 are definitely the best!

Katie Utterly Unashamed I don't think I continued. It was definitely not my fave of hers, but I struggle with this style now. I was bored with it.

Talk about being late to the party. ... THANKS 💕

Which one of her books is your favorite?

A bit 😉. A few years after the 8th, like Susan said, KP decided to expand & now she’s up to 15 full length novels & a few novellas. I haven’t read them all, but I’ve read most. I wasn’t so crazy about the first few when she re-introduced the series with a Montgomery cousin & the hero’s family(the Crawfords), but I think the series got back on track when the other Montgomery cousin introduced her hero’s family, the O’ Callaghans. The O’Callaghans are lively charming Irish family.

Right? Bickering banter at first sight is almost always a winner for me. lol

Awww! Yes. I enjoy a good banter.
Thanks

It was originally a 8 book plus some novellas series. All following the Montgomery family. So each book features all/most of the previous characters so you get to really follow the family. Then Kristen Proby picked it back up and now we are on book 15 with more to come. Its really a great series and one of my favorites. I love family saga series! The Montgomery's are one of my favorites. I'm also a major fan of book 2 and Nate lol Hes been my top book boyfriends for years haha..
