I am not even a tenth into this book and this woman already sounds ostentatiously pretentious. My goodness. Who cares if someone wants gold-flecked lamp shades or a fake bonsai. Not everyone can afford $700 designs (ones which the author lauded as an incredible reduction from the original). I hope this gets better.
