Buddhist logic is a product of their metaphysics while in the West, our metaphysics is a product of our logic. Buddhist logic is constrained by their scriptures while Western religions are (suppose to be) constrained by logic. Learned an obscure word used in logic: probandum (that which is to be proved, demonstrated) is the neuter gerundive of the verb probare (to prove, show, esteem).
