So many metaphors... Too poetic in an unnecessary way. Is this her usual writing style? I have read only the This Savage Song duology from her, and that was about 2 years ago, but I don't remember it to bee this "try so hard" style...

Why so repetitive?! Also, the writing style... feels so forced...

Loving it so far! BUT! There is something that bothers me and drives me nuts. I remember that I saw a movie, somewhere between late 90s and early 2000, that had such a similar idea to this book. What I remember is that this woman was from ancient Greece or Roman Empire, something like that, and she made a pact with the devil, and after, everyone forgets her. Just like Addie. There is someone that can help me with it?

Finally my copy arrived today!!! Already had the ebook but damn, I just wanted to keep the book in my hands and read it! Plus, I am just loving this cover 😍😍😍
