Rebecca I have always wanted to read more about the Cathars but haven’t been able to find too much. I think I would be giving this one a miss though even if it was in English! Happy holiday reading..

Sarah It's actually quite palatable if I have a chunk of time to get into it. But with my memory as it is, I know I'll have forgotten everything as soon as I close the book after the 750 th page!!

Rebecca I do love your holiday reading. It reminds me of being at a beach resort a while back and on the little bookshelf in the room was a copy of one of Nietzsche’s books. I did wonder who was ambitious enough to take Nietzsche to the beach. It was probably you..

Sarah I'll never forget optimistically and naively taking 'Vanity fair' (the book not the magazine) into hospital when having Marley. I fondly imagined lazy days in bed, newborn asleep, fully rested, filling my time reading!. Needless to say, I didn't open it whilst there.... and still haven't.

Rebecca Ok - that definitely beats Nietzsche on the beach in the optimistic book reading stakes!
