I LOVE the way Straub talks about neurobiology and neuropsych processes. Super intuitive and accessible; it's clear he and his author team really wanted to get these concepts across and worked hard to make it clear.

This one is great so far! Actually discusses the importance of gender/sex-related discrimination and issues within healthcare: as an example, the "antifemale and anti-African-American bias" in prevention, detection, diagnosis and treatment of cardiac problems (p. 26). The author(s) also call out the harmful effects of gender in males, regarding VAW and also that "masculinity is bad for men's health" (p. 25). Hurray!
