Currently my bedtime reading for as long as my cat allows it (which isn't very long at all). When I read accounts of witch trials I always wonder why they confess to having familiars (I do rather like the name "Fancie") I can understand, through igornace and superstition, the belief that words could have power, especially if a death occurs not long after someone has spoken in anger.
