Another interesting comparison brought up, the indian caste system and the racism against the blacks in USA. Both regards the lowest rank as unclean & polluting.
Theories of patriarchal society is discussed. 1st is that men are physically stronger but the one in power is not always strongest. 2nd is men are more aggressive but aggression sometimes bad for war. 3rd is evolution but bonobos manage to be matriarchal.

There's an interesting section where the author compares the Hammurabi code and the US Independence declaration. Although they tell very different story of human hierarchy both are mythical. The myth of hierarchy or equality are a tool for human to cooperate in the very large society made possible by agricultural revolution.

Humans are basically the most invasive species ever. Anywhere we go there was extinction of megafauna. From Australia to America to Siberia the same destruction happened.
The author also floats the idea that the agricultural revolution wasn't an improvement on the quality of an individual life although from species perspective it's a very beneficial process. Miseries also was brought upon the domesticated animals.
