I forgot how good the vocabulary the author uses is and I'm annoyed my Kindle's "vocabulary builder" was off as I want to use more the language the author does sometimes.

On every front, this book is just so excellent.

I’m enjoying this and breezing through it way more than I thought I would. The opening preface is worth skipping though; what is it with all books recently having this boring prefaces that add nothing and slow you down?
