Vincent Lemieux Do you like it so far ?

Jordan Carl Knight is Orthodox so he doesn’t deviate much from the historical interpretations. It’s a pretty technical commentary. With my extremely limited working knowledge of Greek it is a bit of a challenge to slog through the more technical parts of his work. As a laymen I think I like Stott and Guthrie a little better for readability and applicability of the text. Knight borrows heavily from Guthrie in his introduction as he combats critical scholarships push to militate against Pauline authorship. Both Knight and Guthrie have incredible introductions but I think Knight is a little more clear writer as he takes more time to lay out programmatic argumentation in his polemics. But yes, I’m enjoying it.
