It's "okay" so far. It hasn't fully captured me where I can't walk away from it which is a bummer. I was hoping this was going to be really engrossing. The writing is solid although a bit distracting with how frequently the author uses the word "whilst". I like that the fmc is a badass but I haven't really connected with her or the other characters yet. I'm going to keep going but not sure about book two.
