I really feel like this is an interesting book to read now after almost 50 years of this event. I think what makes this interesting is just the cover ups preventing justice from happening.

My uncle told me to read this book years ago and I picked it for my true crime book group (online discussion). Lots of parallels between then and now I'm terms of discord, mistrust of police, racism, cover ups, media, etc. Obviously this is going to be a one sided story, but I think it will lend it self to a good discussion. Possibly a heated discussion.
