It's getting a lot better. The grammar has improved and I am liking the obvious effort put into this magic world. I am interested in what will happen next. If that's not a compliment I don't know what is.

Only 19 pages in and I was already correcting sentence structure and basic grammar. Too much "telling and not showing" and stilted dialogue.

The prologue was ineffective. It was supposed to instill a sense of curiousity and fear. I was distracted by the poor pacing. This needed another draft.
