Connie getting knocked out reminds me of a non-fiction essay from Clarkesworld about how getting knocked out is way more serious than the way we treat it in fiction.

very interesting concept. Curious to see where the author takes it. So far a great story balance, not just romance (or really much of any)

I can't remember why I have this. Maybe it was a Humble Bundle or StoryBundle from before I started using tags in Calibre to keep track of that. Maybe it's one of free ebooks I get each month from Amazon.com. Hard to tell as I have it in all formats, but I might have just done some conversions at some point. We'll see how this goes.

At any rate I think this is my 2nd romance book and my 1st monster romance book.
