I received a free copy of this book in exchange for a fair review -- thanks for the opportunity!
This was a fun read, a classic haunted house tale with sympathetic characters. I didn't like the protagonist much at first, but I realized this was intentional -- the haunting forces her to mature and become more empathetic. Not for hard-core horror fans, but a sweet story just creepy enough for bedtime reading.

This was a fun read! A classic haunted house tale with sympathetic characters and good pacing. I didn't really like the protagonist at first, but by the end, I realized this was intentional -- her situation not only puts her in the way of the supernatural, it forces her to become more mature and empathetic. This isn't for hard-core horror fans, but it's a sweet story and just creepy enough for bedtime reading.
