The plot's utterly ridiculous. The story is atmospheric, but the narrative thread is weak.

While I like Louis, the humour, and the romance, it can't make up for the dragging and pointless plot.

The juxtaposition of the very clever Zoe against the very stupid Camille is pretty funny.

I'm enjoying the (subtle) humour, but the plot isn't doing anything for me.

Zoe's going to put her father's brain into the Frankenstein-monster she's assembling?!

I thought this would be about a soulless couple of psychos, but one of them is finally showing some sense/conscience; the plot is getting better, thanks to that fact.

How can she NOT know the meaning of the word "mortuary"?!! 🙄

Error: She had already set the dog down. Then mentioned setting the dog down again. Editors need to spot such inconsistencies BEFORE publication!

I'm not enjoying this plot. I usually enjoy macabre dark humour, but with the Covid-19 pandemic raging outside, macabre is reality, & reality is no fun right now.
