While i appreciated the archaeological bit, it was smidge anticlimactic... But maybe they were just trying to end on a high note after how miserable York's eventual death proved?

Looks like i picked the right biography! Apparently most of the modern ones are obsessed with "deconstructing" York and mocking or villainizing his religiosity -- as a historian obsessed with facts and focused on the study of religion, I am very relieved to find that this biography focuses on facts and takes his religious convictions seriously.
