Not loving the transitions from one scene to the next. There's no flow to them, which is really jarring. Books shouldn't have speed bumps.

I was initially worried that it was my misogyny failing to differentiate between fantasy novels with female protagonists, but there's definitely similarities in style here.
Oh! I have this on my tbr-challenge. I'm looking forward to your thoughts on this.
