Wow. I'm really struggling with this for a variety of reasons, not least of which is how how terribly structured these essays are. Stick the landing, my god.

These essays still seem to cut off right before the punch lands. Also, the repetition.

kris is 29% done

Current reflections: it feels slightly like I'm following West while she rifles through my closets; pulls out my shit to examine it and hold it up and shake it so all the crap falls out; and then tosses it over her shoulder. It's a very discordant reading experience.

Also, I wish she'd push a little harder in some of these essays? They seem to build to some grand THING but then I turn a page and: END CHAPTER
