I'm really enjoying this book so far - so much so that I snatched up the other two books in the series. But the hospital scene - Eek. As someone who's too familiar for comfort with them, I have questions: wouldn't Alex be in ICU and not a room, since this apparently just happened and he's still unconscious? And "Since he was still unconscious, it was apparent he'd suffered some head trauma." umm... CT scan, anyone?
