Lost in Space clone. Keeping the bad guy around to cause further havoc instead of spacing him like rational people would do after the third time nearly killing them. Could see this wasn't going to end as well as retelling what had already happened at the beginning of chapters so as to stretch out the story as much as possible. Became unbelievable so returned the book. No worth putting up with.
