jesus fucking christ this book always hits somewhere deep in my chest but this time around especially

this book came out when i was sixteen, so reading it now and realizing i am the same age as alex is extremely fucking jarring

I think this booked has ruined me for romance, if it's not alex and henry level I don't want it

I don't quite know how to put into words that like this isn't the book I name if asked what my favourite book is but at the same time I don't think anything is ever going to beat this book

it's almost like it gets a whole category of its own, like favourite just doesn't even fit into the equation because this book is just . . . something else entirely
