William Schrecengost Do you like poetry?

Jonathan I’m getting into it, this book is basically poetry for dummies.

William Schrecengost That's what it looked like. I normally recommend Beowulf and Homer to men getting into poetry. The battle narratives are typically more our cup of tea. Tolkien's poetry is really good and more masculine. Romance is also great, but I didn't get into that until I met my now wife. George Herbert is also a really good poet for Christians

Jonathan I love Beowulf, I haven’t read the Iliad yet though.
