James Joyce is an author I’ve always struggled with. In fact, I recall flinging Ulysses across the room at one point. I’ve been revisiting his writing lately, and I’m actually enjoying Dubliners quite a bit. There is great beauty in the details and the undercurrent of emotion is so well done in each of the stories.
