The characters are super simple. Not in a bad way, just kinda in a weird way, in that ‘everyone is sweet and uncomplicated’ way. It doesn’t work for keeping my interest. Also, is this author sponsored by Dairy Farmers of America? An awful lot of milk drinking. Do people do that? No adult I know drinks a single whole glass of milk, let alone with practically every meal. Stop talking about the bloody milk.
