What I really can't get over about this story is how even though her parents cut her off, she never really went through hard times. Like she found a job as a teacher the moment she graduated, she stayed with her friend, and then she found the penthouse for free. And even the guy she will eventually get together with is rich, I know I shouldn't expect any kind of meaningful message about riches and stuff, but still...
