I found this book disturbing because it dealt with battering of the pregnant wife and children of Pa. When I saw the book and saw that it was a three-part story, I almost bought all three parts, but am so glad I only bought Part 1. Other than the cute picture of children who needed to be bathed, I found cruelty to the family to be unnecessary and will delete this book from my Kindle.
