For some reason, Jodi Picoult decided to tell this story backwards. I'm finding this unnecessarily confusing. I do think this is a good book, but I also think it takes away from the story to have the story told backwards. Definitely an issue book, as most of hers are. If you are one particular side, you're probably not going to be too happy with this book as it does lean to a definite side.
