I'm really loving this book. There's something about it that just won't let me put it down. I like the complexity of the characters, I think the themes are really interesting (especially how KSR is portraying them) and I think he's getting the science in well enough where I can understand it. At first this part of the book was very science based, but now I see a lot more character development which I appreciate.

Perhaps the day has come to write that essay... here to read or reread all (some?) Of Kim Stanley Robinson's work. Highly influential author to me. Truly staggering his work and how often I think about it.

My god this is... becoming much more serious than I expected. I kind of want to write a paper about this book

I didnt finish this book 2 years ago when I first started reading it and that was a mistake I have wanted to fix for awhile. I reached about 360 pages maybe the first time in, and I am loving it just as much as I did, if not more, the second time through. I think Robinson has a strong grasp of his characters, as well as a great style of prose that makes the science feel so interesting! Makes me want to be a scientist

Took a short break this week because school has been killer, but picked it back up today and it hooked me as always. It's definitely gonna be one of my favorite sci-fi books out there

I loved the first 90 pages, but now we're getting more into the gritty science of it, and while I still like it, I want to see more of the characters interactions.
