This book is more difficult to penetrate even than A Secular Age, which continues to haunt me. However, it is incredibly rewarding for the moments I am able to penetrate it's outer crust, made up of clunky English translated from the original German and dry grammar discussions that may be interesting if I was a Greek & Hebrew scholar but as I am not...they are not.
