This book has many problems. It attempts to be a scholarly examination of the development of Green Man imagery over time, but between the editing errors (there are sentences with missing words), and the unsubstantiated claims, I don't have much faith that the author knows what he's talking about. I'm going to finish the book because there are some good nuggets in there, but overall, this book is not worthwhile.
