The Blonde has been harder to get into, a less breathtaking and compelling read, than Godbersen's prior novels - hoping that as I get further into it, I''ll be less distracted by trying to imagine the historical figures of Marilyn Monroe and JFK in the scenes and that it'll pick up the pace a bit.
