In her head, she kept going over the litany of Tony's faults: he drank too much, he was lazy, he ran drugs for Rudy. But his smile made her feel like she was flying.
Personally I would have added to the list of his shortcomings the multiple attempted homicides he just confessed to, but hey - so long as his smile makes you fly 👌

Ryan & Charlotte - first of all... LOL! And secondly, I spotted your three stars ratings when I added the book to my shelf yesterday and was immediately seized by a sense of foreboding (which the very existence of this Tony dude seems to confirm.)
Netanella: I guess it's possible she took the attempted murders as a sign of his enterprising vigor? Who knows!
There's nothing severely wrong with the story! I just wasn't blown away.

I'll be interested to see what you end up thinking about it! Ultimately I liked it but I definitely had some complaints too
What I like about this notification is that we're learning who we can call if we ever need to dispose of a body.
