Damn, they should be thanking Jillian! Claire talking about “Jillian would have stopped at not” ....so did you want the kids or nah? “ devoid of a moral compass”...... umm she didn’t even tell Ethan about whole scheme in the first place. Hypocrite.

I hope that the “villain” gets some justice! Yeesh. That’d be revolutionary.

Jennifer 25% of the way, I could predict the book. I was hoping hoping HOPING that this one would be different so I continued! I’m still not done, but I was thinking maybe the “villain” Jillian was not the only villain. Claire is also the villain, her and Nash need to be punished as well. Justice was not proportionately served.
Claire lied to her husband, Abbey, and went into hiding using fake ID, and also repudiated Jillian’s involvement with the success of her child and denied Jillian any sort of access. That’s mean, and damn cold-hearted.
So yeah, I was hoping this book would be different and actually have justice to be served to all parties, Claire and Nash serve their time, and have Jillian end with some sort of vindication. But so far the ending is looking cliche. Boo.
