I didn’t realize this was a young adult book when I picked it up but it became obvious pretty quickly with most of the main characters being teenagers. I found the first 200 pages fairly blah, okay stories but not scary at all. 201 Malerman’s “Danny” starts and that’s the first actual thrilling story. I haven’t go much farther than that but wished I could have just skipped the first 200 pages.
