The genre of the book I am reading is realistic fiction. I know this because the book is not real but tries to be realistic and follow the main character.

The climax of this book was when Nolan the main character climbed onto the roof of his school and threw a bunch of slips of paper off advertising his site. This was the climax because it was the most exciting part of the story because he could have been caught and got in trouble.

This book had many similarities to a movie I watched called "A Monster Calls". Both of the main characters are picked on but find the courage to stand up for themselves. In the book Nolan gets courage when he creates a popular website against bullying. In the movie the main character gets courage from an monster that takes him on a journey in his imagination.

The character Nolan tells his mother "I stuck up for myself. Twice. Once when these 2 older guys made fun of my power walk, and once when Freddy called me nerd." We can characterize Nolan as someone who is used to being bullied based on what he said but, hes gonna start to stand up for himself.

The antagonist of my story is the school bully named Bubba. He constantly bullies the main character of the story and steals everyone's things. We haven't found out what they want yet though.
