The book mainly focuses on the fact that the main character is away from his home and he really does not like it. Overtime he does slightly appreciate some other things about this island including this boy called Samuel or as he calls himself Solo. On the back cover however it says a story that hasn't even happened yet and for that story to not come up even after 100 pages is kinda jarring.
