Elena > Status Update

I'm really struggling through this one. I've tried reading some of the 5 star review here, just to help me along, but God, the characters are simply so UNLIKABLE.And while the writing is quite beautiful most of the time, the dialogs sound as if the heroes are rehearsing (for the first time) their lines from some weird (and badly written) mystiс play.
I'm determined to finish this book, though.
