Caleb, Sierra and Heather get into Devon's car to go to the mall and do Christmas shopping. They did things like looking for candles, taking pictures with Santa Clause, and shop. They were having a lot of fun especially Sierra and Caleb considering that they never left each others side.Later on, Sierra regrets something she says which then leads into sort of like an argument with Caleb. However, they figure things -

After they left the diner, they mostly didn't talk on the way back to the lot. Before Sierra went to the trailer, her and Caleb held hands and they felt so close to each other. They liked spending time together, and everyday they would feel more connected. The next day, Sierra and Heather went to school together. Mostly every year when Sierra came to California, she would go to school with Heather for only one day. _

one day at work, Sierra really wanted to go with Caleb and bring another tree to a family. So she backed cookies with Heather, and the next day when Caleb picked her up from the lot, she brought them to give to the family. After they gave away the tree, Caleb took Sierra to this place that served pancakes the size of your face. They wanted to have a good time, however they both knew that Caleb needed to tell the -

Once Caleb and Sierra finally reach the apartment door, Mrs. Trujillo opens it. She looked so excited to see Caleb, and even more excited when she saw the Christmas tree. Caleb introduced her to Sierra, and was so happy to see her, that she waned to hug her. Mrs. Trujillo said thank you to both of them and was so grateful. She was trying not to be obvious, but she couldn't help but think that something was going on -

on a Sunday evening, Sierra was in her trailer talking to Rachel and Elizabeth, who she had missed a lot. They had a very weird but funny conversation, and then Sierra brought up Caleb. She told them everything, and how there was this crazy rumor going around about him. Rachel and Elizabeth, yet shocked, gave Sierra advice which she new was true. Sierra had the whole morning on Saturday, until she had to work in the afternoon. So, Heather picked her up to go to her favorite breakfast diner. While they were chatting, Sierra kept thinking about Caleb, and how they ended things off. When they made it to the diner, before they walked in, Heather warned Sierra that Caleb worked there. Shocked, Sierra started to think how she was going to act when she saw him. -

Another day of work, Sierra can not stop thinking of Caleb. Although she knew horrible rumors about him, she kept thinking to herself that they probably weren't true. Heather on the other hand kept going on and on, talking about what Christmas present she was going to get for Devon( her boyfriend). However, there was really no point in getting him one since she had planned to break up with after a month. After -

In this chapter, Sierra was at her second day of work. A few minutes after getting ready, she gets out of her trailer and sees her parents. She confesses to them that she had heard their conversation about not being able to visit California again. They knew that their lot was a very special place and meant a lot to them. They also didn't want it to be their last year. However, the lot wasn't going anywhere because -

The next morning, still laying in bed, Sierra could see everyone outside of the trailer working and getting ready for opening day.She gets ready and when people show up she stands behind the cash drawer. Their costumers loved their tree lot, and once they picked a tree they left. After Sierra, heather, and their family had Thanksgiving dinner, they go off to do their duties. The dads do the dishes, the moms bring in Christmas decorations, and Sierra and Heather go to set up trees on top of a hill.
