Jayson
Jayson is starting

Notes:
(1) Whoever thought Joker's Daughter was at all an adequate replacement for Starfire had to be out of their mind.
(2) Joker's Daughter failed as a Harley Quinn replacement, failed as a solo supervillain, failed as a member of the Suicide Squad, and, so far as I know, failed here too.
- I've got no idea why they keep trying to make her a thing! Write it off as a loss!

Jayson is on page 29 of 192

Notes:
(1) I never expected this book to get so wimpy. Everyone's talking about their feelings and acting all mopey and sentimental. Ugh!
(2) The moment you try to humanize the Joker's Daughter is the moment the character loses all purpose and point of being.
(3) Last I read of the Joker's Daughter, she had her flesh mask mystically fused to her face. That didn't last long.

Jenny Clark Ah, so this is where she ended up! I liked the OG Jokers Daughter, who actually changed her name to Harlequin and joined the teen titans! This was the 60's teen titans so you know it was fun!

Yes, this is the end of the line, so far as the New 52 is concerned. Though I believe she makes an appearance in Rebirth Nightwing. Also, I agree. Silver Age comics were the most fun!

Jenny Clark I really only read Silver and Bronze age Teen Titans haha! I read the 2000's of a few others (Batgirl, Nightwing, Harley Quinn, Catwoman)

Well, if there ever was an era of Teen Titans to read, it would be the Silver and Bronze Age stuff. Right until Crisis on Infinite Earths is where that series peaked, at least until Geoff Johns took over in the 2000s.

Glen Joker's Daughter first run wasn't that bad, back in the 70's, but every incarnation since has been worse and worse.

Glad to know it's not a character entirely without merit.

Glen IIRC, she was a slightly confused teenager looking for her absent father. Not the most explosively new concept, but definitely better than what they were doing with Mal Duncan. Then she disappeared for a while after her storyline was finished.

Unfortunately, writers kept bringing her back in dumber and dumber storylines.

Seems like things never change. She's still brought back for dumb storyline after dumb storyline.

Mizuki I don't like Joker's Daughter in Suicide Squad neither!

Yep. I'm just saying the character wasn't always a complete waste of ink. A series of inept writers are responsible for that.

I think it's very hard to make her work in anything these days.

A good writer can make almost anything work, even the most ridiculous characters.

Seeing her fighting with Harley Quinn in the N52 Suicide Squad is tiring enough.

Yes, tiring would be the word... also forced and unnecessary.
