I was so disappointed in the book which I’d been looking forward to. Found it to be so wholly predictable - banging on with a well-worn philosophical message - that I read half and skimmed the rest. Characters were uninteresting and lacking in nuance- especially Nora and Mrs Elm (what a cliché). Writing was blunt and lacking subtlety.
