Scariest book I have ever read. It would make a great movie. It is set in the real town of Index, WA, incorporates local knowledge about the region, and fictionalizes some locals that live there. It is about the aftermath of THE BIG ONE (earthquake) that opens a fault line in the earth to release creatures only before known as myths. I read a little everyday and notice when I'm not reading I'm wondering how it end.
