This starts really slow (9% done, 9 hours to go), so maybe that is why I can't get over the fact that the apple trees are blooming in summer here. They. Do. Not. Bloom. In. Summer. Apple trees and Sunflowers? Not the same season. Every time apple blossoms are mentioned I grit my teeth.

This book has the most unhelpful blurb ever, considering that Christo ranges from farce (White Buffalo Calf Warrions) to tragedy (The Place Where They Cried) and everything in between (Gives Light). I'd like to know in advance if she's going to stomp on my heart or not.
