The remarks about Alice in Wonderland have me looking forward to finding out whether she’s read Isa Bowman’s book (The Story of Lewis Carroll, Told for Young People by the Real Alice in Wonderland.) (she wasn’t the inspiration for Alice, but met Dodgson when she played Alice in a stage production in 1886. She is the dedicatee of his interesting novel Sylvie and Bruno.)
