It is good kinda. Actually, there are 2 authors. Each one of them has translated Tiruppavai and Nachiyaar Tirumozhi and catered separately. Plus, there's a partial translation of Periyalvar's Periya Tirumozhi at the end. That's juicy poetry!

I'm done with Tiruppavai by both.
I find Ravi's translation more lyrical and you know matching my fanatic metaphoric way. While, Priya's translation is quite okayish, flat one. IDK how she did well with Periya Tirumozhi and made Tiruppavai flavorless.

Well, initially there was a really boring narration of Mata Andal's hagiography. Huh, it could have been made more interesting. The preface-writer Mani Rao seemed confused than the authors' themselves. There's too much swaying than narration.

Tbh, look out for the poetry, not the background story. We know it better! Don't we? :P

Disclaimer: The Real Tiruppavai & NT are unparalleled, as it is and has to be. Whatever is rendered here, is an attempt to translate. Whomsoever who attempt to translate at any point of time at any rate of poetic-skill can never near that sheer beauty. Anyways, flowers of that 'Kalpavriksha of Poetry' still bear honey.
