Dec 26 I realized I don’t like the characters. I don’t care about their lives, their plight. It all sucked. I kept putting it down and wanting to do other things. I had to make myself read. The ending was not what I wanted. I can’t articulate how much of a disappointment this was. This book was depressing, too negative and hopeless, and not romantic, the love scenes an epic fail. I’m glad to finally be done.

Dec 25 So many probs. It’s going in a different direction than I expected and I don’t like her ideas and choices. Still too much time in the villain’s POV. All the bullshit is ruining the story. It’s not romantic; it’s awful. Her life sucks too bad and there’s not enough romance amidst all the crap. Nothing could make up for the misery and hopelessness of both situations. The writing isn’t good and the love sucked.

Dec 24 I can’t believe how this started out. Like every other trashy, screwed up, rape-y, nonconsensual PR I’ve ever read. It was SO disturbing. I keep finding faults and complaints and getting upset at things. I’m so disappointed. This is DNF material. I could barely read. There were a couple nice ideas but most are bad. I dread reading on.
