Stacia (the 2010 club) is 10% done
The sun hits my eyes dagger drunk-daddy hard, so I cover them and turn to look the other way towards Donnie. He smirks and melts me like Velveeta cheese.

WTF is this? The entire portion of the book I've read so far has been all over the place (spaz much?) and full of the WEIRDEST descriptions I've ever seen.

I think I just threw up in my mouth a little. Some things are not sexy. At all.

I want to forget about the prophecies of a junkyard princess and Donnie is helping me forget all the sores. My arm still hurts. I had to get out. I had to disappear. Dad was too crazy. And not knowing where Jack is right now is killing me. Leopard stalk me, prey in a tree.

I think I need a drink. Maybe things will start to make sense if I get hammered.

Stacia (the 2010 club) Seriously. This type of bizarre has been on every single page.

Or how about this - trying too hard? The waves he makes with the board are white-out behind him. The path he's leaving : the obliterated truth of humanity.

Sarah That kind of OTT description would drive me insane!

Stacia (the 2010 club) And there's a lot of caps and exclamations and ....

A lot of reviews are saying this book is brilliant but I'm not getting it. Maybe there's a crazy twist up ahead or something.

Chantaal ....whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?

Stacia (the 2010 club) That's what I'm saying. :)

Sara Velveeta cheese? Eww and WTF? I read a book recently that did something similar; try to damn hard to be great. Of course it fell flat. "Liberated truth of humanity?" Really? Were they stoned when they wrote this?

Anna You don't know the half of it. It's like reading from a on-high MC. It's weird, but intersting. I find the writing kinda engaging though. :)
