This is a wild ride. I am just fascinated by this book. The poetic language, the strong narrative, which is an adventure story as well as a depiction of motherhood. Just as the author became obsessed with the story of Eibhlín Dubh, I am becoming obsessed with her book. I have never read anything like this.
