this weekend is victoria's college big used book sale. i will probably go (again) on sunday. they have a large supply of canadian novels so if any of my friends urgently requires some margaret laurence for example, just let me know and i will see if they have it!

please to note i didn't buy any canadian literature and there are plenty of other books -- it just seemed most logical to offer the seeking out of canadian authors since i live here and all. :)

And see if you can unearth any of the watercolours that Lewis painted while living in Toronto during WWII.You're so kind.
hiya adrian: i tried to find a copy of this barely-canadian artist/writer's work for you but alas, they did not have anything by him. i did buy a third copy of revenge of the lawn because lord knows a girl can never have enough of those. i also thought of you when i saw all the copies of girls of slender means and miss jean brodie were at the sale -- almost as many as there were of the poisonwood bible. :P
