FYI, I should note that my husband and I are going through the book to revise it because it's mostly awful but in a way that gives us a chance to practice how to talk back to some of the messiest cultural issues in the Church. I've been pleasantly surprised by the many substantial conversations that this process has sparked along the way! But it's definitely getting one star and an anti-recommendation.

So far the most prevalent umbrellas of offenders are perfectionism (including black & white thinking that lacks consideration of nuance or context) and painfully limited views of women (subordination, role restrictions, and no connection to priesthood power) :P
